Happy Friday, everyone!  We finished our first reading and writing workshop units today, and I hope that everyone is feeling inspired and ready to really make a difference with their words!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Homework: 

1) Math: none, unless you have any quizzes you got back with low scores (remember that even a 2/3 is a 66%, which would be a D+, so keep that in mind as you're trying to put forth your best work!)  Also remember that I give full points back for redone math quizzes!!

2) Read 20 minutes and get it signed--remember that every day read must be signed!! Please see the breakdown of what we do with reading logs below:

*5 days of signed reading = 5/5 points in SIS + 1 Ken Garff ticket (to win a bike, iPod shuffle, or scooter)

*7 days of signed reading = 7/5 points on SIS + 2 Ken Garff tickets

*less than 5 signed days: i.e. 3/5 days signed of reading = 3/5 points in SIS & 0 Ken Garff tickets

*NO days signed = lunch detention each day until the planner is signed.
