Some inspring videos!

Video #1: Inner Life of a Cell

You just watched an animation of what a cell does: absorbs nutrients, sends and receives messages from the rest of the body, and so much more!  All that happens inside ONE human cell at all times.  Do you know how many cells the human body has?   About 10-50 trillion.  That's more than a million times a million!  Some serious food for thought.

Video #2: Richard Turere: My invention that made peace with lions

We watched the first part of this inspiring video in class.  A few questions for you to think about, especially as we begin exhibition when you guys get back:
1) Did all of his ideas to solve his problem work?
2)  Which was more important: the fact that he created a product, or that he did not give up when his first tries didn't work?  Why?  (Is the process as important as the product?  Why?)
3) Which was more important: the fact that he invented something useful, or that he shared that invention with his community?  Why?

Happy Spring Break!
