March 21, 2013

Tomorrow's the last day of the term!  I sent home missing work reports and progress reports so you can make sure you have everything taken care of one last time!  I'm so proud of our class that we only had a few missing assignments!!

Students, remember to talk to your parents about 3 things:
1) Exhibition/Mentors: show them the Parent Packet!
2) BizTown: give them the volunteer sign-up sheet!  Or click here to sign up!
3) Donations: We are in need of Clorox Wipes & Little Cesar's Pizza gift cards (for our Pizza reading party)
ALSO, if you're going to post a Pizza reading book talk on the blog, be sure to include (last chance!):
Your FIRST name only
Book title
Book genre/why it fits that genre
Book talk (what you would say about it in class)
Finally, remember to ask your parents or older siblings who have Facebook accounts to vote for Brooklyn's older sister's Zion's Bank video once a day until March 31st!  Not only will she get a scholarship if she wins, but Providence Hall will earn a money prize as well!  Steps:
1) "Like" the Zion's Bank page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ZionsBank
2) On the Financialize a Film Student Video Contest link, vote for Brittany Collingridge's "Zions Spice" video!

Homework:
1) Math: Unit 9 review!  p. 407-408 from class workbook.  #19 is a bonus!  Redo quizzes--remember that the term ends on Friday, Mar. 22nd!
2) Read 20 minutes & turn in signed reading log!
3) Missing work
