February 25, 2013

Day 1 of parent teacher conferences!  The kids are so excited to share their growth and learning with you!  See you throughout the week!

Also, by popular demand, the kids have asked that I post information about a personality style quiz we did today!  We discussed how each style comes with its strengths and weaknesses, and how it's important to know yourself so you know where you can improve, and where you shine!  Remember, this is meant to be looked at as a blend--most of us are a combination of these:

Orange: lots of energy, play time, fun and exciting things, performer, easy to get in trouble with rules, outdoor contests, messy bedroom, loves doing a dare.
Green: inquirer, learn new things by reading/experimenting, logical, independent, computers, scientific, fact-oriented, logical, shy
Blue: friends, stories, creative, artistic, cooperates with people, compassionate, sensitive, personal, likes for people to get along, peacemaker, "people person"
Gold: likes to be in charge, dependable, follows the rules, organized, neat, likes to belong to clubs/organizations, prepared, on time, detail-oriented, practical

Homework:
1) Math (8-5): p. 215 all (except #3), p. 216 odds. Also, redo any low scoring quizzes--the unit test is this week!!  :)
2) Read 20 minutes & get it signed--shooting for 100% on Monday!
3) Missing work!
4) No spelling this week!  :)
