February 12, 2013

We began studying the events of WWII in more detail today--thank you for everyone's great participation in some of our process drama activities to more deeply explore how people would have felt at that time!
I'm looking forward to finding out what everyone discovered about how people manage resources in various professions tomorrow in our Wax Museum!  Remember to dress up and that parents are welcome to come in between 1-2!
Also, we are still in need of donations/volunteers for our Valentine's Day party on Thursday.  Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up already!

Homework:
1) Math (7-22): p. 203 all, p. 204 evens!  Also, redo all low-scoring quizzes and practice!  The unit 7 test is this Friday!
2) Read 20 minutes (and every single day if your reading log grade is a little low to bring that up!)
3) Spelling homework!
4) Wax museum project--interview any professional who manages resources! Wax museum is tomorrow!  Click here for the letter!
5) Missing work!

Items of Business:
*Class Store: If you have any extra soda, candy, trinkets, jewelry, or toys that you would like to donate to class store, please send it with your child! We would like to do one more often to serve as a motivator for positive behavior!
*We would always welcome donations of gerbil food for our class pets!
