Remember to check out the math games for adding/subtracting unlike fractions!!

Homework: 

1) Math (5-15 & 5-16): p. 133 evens, p. 135 evens (just the homework sides for both lessons). Redo low scoring quizzes!

2) Read 20 minutes and get it signed--remember that every day read must be signed!!

3) We have 17 missing work reports today!  Please make sure you get everything taken care of so you can enjoy Friday Fun tomorrow! 

Items of Business: 

*Gerbils: UPDATE: We have determined the genders of the babies:  we have 3 males and 2 females.  We will keep 1 female, so that means 3 males and 1 female are available!  We will give 2 males away together, plus the 1 female and the 1 male to 2 other students.  The first students who bring in permission slips to adopt the gerbils will be allowed to keep them after they are weaned (sometime after Christmas). Since 2 students have already brought permission slips, we are looking for one more adopted parent!

*Class Store: If you have any extra soda, candy, trinkets, jewelry, or toys that you would like to donate to class store, please send it with your child! We would like to do one more often to serve as a motivator for positive behavior!

Upcoming Events: 

*Dec. 3-19: Kindergarten donation drive for children in Uganda! Send in old books, shoes, and clothing to the front office.

*Dec. 18: Boxtops due

*Dec. 21: Boxtop dress down day.

*Dec. 21: 12:30 early release! Bring a snack--lunch will not be served!  Also our class Christmas party from 10:30-11:45.  Click here for the sign-up doc!

*December 21: Bring any knitted "Cast cozies" to the front office by this date.

*Dec. 24-Jan. 4: Christmas break!

*Jan. 18: End of term 2
