Today, we had our first state report!  Way to go, Elliott!  We also had a BLAST yesterday doing our "Bird Beak Lab," during which we used different instruments to "eat" different foods!  Pictures to come soon!  Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible through donations!

Remember that tomorrow is Boxtop dress-down (if you turned in your boxtops), and our class hat day!

Homework: 

1) Math (2-5): p. 43 all, p. 44 odds.  Also, redo low-scoring quizzes for full points back (TONS of students forgot to divide their triangle areas by 2, which resulted in much lower scores than what they were capable of)!  For low-scoring tests, I will give 1/2 points back for all corrected problems.

2) Read 20 minutes and get it signed--remember that every day read must be signed!! 

3) Missing Work Reports: Be sure to get everything turned in and get the missing work report SIGNED!  (please turn it all in, even if it's a missing reading log--just turn in your planner)!

Items of Business:

*Hoppy Taws: one of our PE teachers sells Hoppy Taws for $1.50 in the morning before school!  (exact change only!)
*Lunch Money: If you bring lunch money and put it in the box at the office, make sure it is labeled with your name, teacher, and grade in an envelope/bag!!

Upcoming Events:

*Sep. 28: Boxtop Dress-down day; Also, our class voted to use our green ticket-earned hat day on Friday as well, so be sure to bring those hats!

*October 11: (6:00-7:30 pm) 5th Grade Parent Night!  Please mark your calendar, because you will be looking at your own child's work to learn more about our school and how you can help your child succeed!
