When I was in college, I had a professor that always told us his tests were actually "celebrations" because we were celebrating what we learned! I have to say, that was quite the math celebration on what we've learned in Unit 1 today!
By the way, I am adding one section to the daily blog posts: Items of business. This is just to make sure house-keeping issues we cover in class are communicated to you all as well!
Homework:
1) Math: NONE since we tested today! However, if you have any low-scoring quizzes, you can redo them for full points back! For low-scoring tests, I will give 1/2 points back for all corrected problems.
2) Read 20 minutes and get it signed--remember that every day read must be signed!!
Items of Business:
*Hoppy Taws: starting Friday, one of our PE teachers will be selling Hoppy Taws for $1.50 in the morning before school! (exact change only!)
*Lunch Money: If you bring lunch money and put it in the box at the office, make sure it is labeled with your name, teacher, and grade in an envelope/bag!!
Upcoming Events:
*Sep. 25: Boxtops due
*Sep. 28: Boxtop Dress-down day
*October 1: Due date for the "Make Your Mark Bookmark Contest." You can win $1,000 if you enter, so be sure to check it out! http://www.uesp.org/bookmark
