Happy Monday, everyone!  I hope you all have a great evening!

Homework: 

1) Math (1-5): p. 21 all, p. 22 evens

2) Spelling: We figured out spelling groups today and got our first group sorts!  Students wrote down their words in their planners, so please be sure to use those in order to do your homework!  Spelling homework is a weekly assignment, due Wednesdays!  On a full, blank piece of paper, students should correctly write their words under each sort category!

3) Read 20 minutes and get it signed--remember that every day read must be signed!! Today, some people only had a few days signed.  Please see the breakdown of what we do with reading logs below:

*5 days of signed reading = 5/5 points in SIS + 1 Ken Garff ticket (to win a bike, iPod shuffle, or scooter)

*7 days of signed reading = 7/5 points on SIS + 2 Ken Garff tickets

*less than 5 signed days: i.e. 3/5 days signed of reading = 3/5 points in SIS & 0 Ken Garff tickets

*NO days signed = lunch detention each day until the planner is signed.

*Thurs., Sep. 13: CRT Celebration Beach Party!  Dress down day!  See the flyer going home today for extra details.  (Since we met our CRT goal last year, this is our celebration!)
